finally announced : Romeo & Juliet SP Drama

タッキー＆長沢でロミオとジュリエット from NikkanSports

現代版ロミオとジュリエットに滝沢秀明（２４）長沢まさみ（１９）がふんし、日本テレビ系でドラマ化（放送日未定）されることが２９日、同局から発表された。シェークスピアによる「４大悲劇」完成から４００年の今年、同局は「ロミオ－」と「リア王」をモチーフにした現代ドラマを制作し２日連続で放送する。ロミオの滝沢は父（山下真司）が殺人容疑で手配されている廃品回収業者の青年役。ジュリエットの長沢は、刑事（三浦友和）を父に持つ女子大生を演じる。

(so basically the modern twist is: Romeo's dad (Masashi Yamashita) is a suspect for a murder and Juliet's father (Tomokazu Miura) is the detective hunting for Romeo's dad.)

- ok so some sites r saying that it's actually a "3-night 2007 Shakespeares drama SP." there r a total of 3 dramas. and the R&J drama is the last one scheduled to be aired.
