hmm...this is the third year i've celebrated ur birthday ne.
and what a holiday today is XD

three years ago, i was a big Inuyasha anime freak. i was in HK during summer vacation when my uncle helped me download all the Inuyasha opening/ending songs - one of which was of course One Day, One Dream. i loved the beat and i thought that the two guys singing it were pretty good, though at the time, i was more attracted to Tsubasa's voice. i would wake up extra early every morning to listen to my mp3 and i would try to memorize all the lyrics.

the september i got home, i started looking up pictures of this "Tackey & Tsubasa" group on google. my first T&T pic was of you both sitting on the ground against a wall and smiling at the camera on the left. You were in full view while Tsubasa was sitting behind u. and of course, this fangirl hit bottom. HARD.

i continued saving ur pictures and videos into my computer (which i hardly used before my fangirlism). and day by day, i felt even more attached to this whole "obsession" thing and soon enough, i had already collected more than 4,000 pictures of you before the beginning of my second fangirling year. i started practicing Japanese, started puting ur face and name all over the place, and everyone who knew me also knew about you.

my first time seeing you live in person was on December 25th, 2005 at 1:05 pm sharp. it was my very first concert and it was also my first time being in Japan. weeks before, i was freaking out when i first read about ur solo concert and i knew immediately that i had to go - no matter WHAT. because to me, it was so much more than just a 3-hour fan gathering. after all the begging, crying, work, stress, and money, a contact helped me win a ticket auction for two tickets to both the Christmas shows. On my way to Japan and the couple of days before the concert, all i could think about was you, the con, and how i was gonna prepare myself for the "first meeting" XD

I dont really remember much from the first concert (this tends to happen to a lot of concert goers? lol) but i do remember feeling very touched during Negai. You were just so handsome - it was the first time i had really "cried over something beautiful" and i still couldnt believe i was seeing you live, just about 2 yards above my head. Second show was about the same, except there was no crying because i was already so emotionally drained by the end of Yume Monogatari. after the con ended, i felt really sad leaving the arena and even sadder when i got onto the train back to Shinjuku. it was even more depressing when our plane took off towards home. mile by mile i got farther and farther away from Japan T__T

fangirling continued normally till November of 2006 and then your Kuricon dates were announced. 4.0's and WASL scores came in the mail right on time and viola! my 2nd T&T event. there were even more "first-time's" this time. first time meeting up w/ overseas fans. first time going to an ACTUAL Tackey&Ttsubasa concert. first time you noticed me. first time eating only 200 calories in two days, first time etc etc. it was even harder for me to leave and go home this time... but YOU SAW ME. TWICE. and so did Tsubasa, so that made the whole trip worth even more than what it actually cost.

there were times when i thought about stopping this whole obsession thing (cause of the craziness and massive money-spending) and people have even told me that being in a fandom is just a semi-productive way of wasting time - saying that they're just idols and that they'll never notice me. and that made me pretty sad because no matter how much we dont want to believe it, it is all true. but i guess they havent had the same experiences ive had with T&T, so i dont think they'll ever understand why i decided to stick with the fandom.

Takki, ive always been a big fan and i dont think that will ever change no matter what. You're just so adorable in everything that you do, its impressive. You're strongwilled - a trait so many people are lacking in the world today - and though you're not "perfect," i still admire and like you for your imperfections. i cant call myself your biggest fan because im sure there are a lot more crazier and luckier girls out there. but as a fangirl, the least i could do is stay dedicated and i will do whatever it takes to support you and Tsubasa~
